  Oh my! Wonderful little place....The fresh calamari was to die for, the homemade marinara sauce is excellent. The complimentary garlic knots and dipping sauce were wonderful! I got the Chicken Piccata, which was moist, but had not been dredged in flour.....the white wine sauce with capers was excellent. My husband got the spaghetti with meat sauce and he said it was delicious. The one thing I was disappointed in was the side salad, which was just iceberg lettuce with a few pieces of tomato and a tiny bit of onion.....would have been so much better if there had been fresh greens mixed in with it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They no longer make their own fresh pasta, but that will not deter us going back for more authentic Italian food!! They do have luncheon specials and a luncheon menu, which is really reasonable....$7.99. If the salad had been better, I would give it 5 stars.

  Great place, I hope it stays in Smithville. Good service, loved the ravioli and the sausage is homemade. Will definitely be back for more bread and dipping oil.

  I eat here all the ti.email. the stromboli is excellent as is all their other food. Their lunch special is great that for $7.99 you get bread with dipping oil, salad, and an entrée. Staff is very friendly and actually from Italy, though not from Venice as the name would imply, but rather from the south where things have a little more flavor.
